SplashCast Trumpets Service

Portland, Oregon-based SplashCast said Thursday that the firm has had more than 5,000 new shows created with the firm's service since its launch in January. The company also said that it is in a strategic alliance with Automattic, the company behind the WordPress hosted blog service, to publish their channels directly into WordPress blogs. SplashCast allows users to create streaming media channels, including, audio, video, music, and RSS feeds for social networking pages and blogs.
