Big Fish In Mobile Gaming Partnership

Computer games developers Namco Networks and Seattle-based Big Fish Games Inc. have formed a partnership in order to bring Big Fish's online games to mobile telephones in North America, Namco revealed Monday. Namco said the first title launched under the partnership will be Atlantis Sky Patrol, a casual puzzle game in which players must destroy doomsday devices by shooting and matching chains of colored marbles before the chain reaches a detonation core. Namco said the partnership blends its expertise in the wireless gaming sector with Big Fish's dominance in the family-friendly gaming market. Namco added that it plans to release Atlantis Sky Patrol in winter 2007. Based in San Jose, Calif., Namco Networks America Inc. is a subsidiary of Namco Bandai Holdings Inc. Big Fish Games Inc. is headquartered in Seattle.
