Livemocha Launches Social Networking For Language Learning

Seattle-based Livemocha, a developer of online language-learning software, announced Monday at the DEMOfall conference that it has released a new, Internet-based language-learning application. Livemocha said its online, language learning software uses social networking to help users learn English, Spanish, French, Hindi, German and Mandarin Chinese. The firm's site includes Web 2.0 features such as personal profiles, user-generated tutorials and content, and ratings of content.
