Microsoft Invests In Aspect Software

Microsoft said today that it is making an equity investment in Aspect Software, a provider of IP communications software for the contact center industry, as part of a global strategic alliance between the firms. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. According to the companies, Aspect will design its IP contact center solution to interoperate with Microsoft's platform for unified communications. Aspect is based in Chemlsford, Mass.
