UIEvolution Teams On Streaming Video To Autos

UIEvolution, a Bellevue, Wash.-based provider of software for conetnt management and rich media, has linked with mobile content delivery firm MobiTV to create a new, streaming video systems for automobiles. According to UIEvolution and MobiTV, they have created the Connected Car Solution by UIEvolution, a system which allows auto manufacturers to provide real-time information and personalized content, entertainment, and advertising to drivers and passengers. The companies said the system will support audio, video, navigation systems, and integrated advertising, with the advertising ability to help reduce the cost of monthly subscriptions for users. The new system is being demonstrated at the automotive industry's Telematics Detroit 2008 show.
