Strands Signs BBVA

Corvallis, Oregon-based Strands, a provider of recommendation and personal finance tools, said Wednesday that the firm is powering a new online personal finance site from bank BBVA. According to BBVA and Strands, the new BBVA Tú cuentas site will allow online users to manage their personal finances. The site, which is available to BBVA customers, includes analysis of financial information, tracking of income and expenses, and other tools. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. BBVA is based in Spain, and has more than $783M in total assets with operations in 40 countries.
