Desktone Adds Microsoft Support

Bellevue-based Desktone, which offers an outsource, virtual desktop service, said Monday that the firm has added support for Microsoft's virtualization tools as part of its service. According to Desktone, it has added support for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V as part of its outsourced, desktop hosting infrastructure. Desktone allows clients to use the firm for virtual desktops, so that they do not have to set up their own virtual desktop environment.
