Adaptis Names Healthcare Head

Adaptis Inc., a provider of business process outsourcing services for health payers, reported Monday that it has hired John Hudson as healthcare practice leader. The Seattle-based company said Hudson's sales role will include identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities. He will report to Jan Claesson, Adaptis' chief business development officer, and will work with executives at small- to mid-sized payer organizations. Adaptis described Hudson as a 20-year veteran of the health care and technology industries who most recently worked for Zavata and Health eConnex. In addition to its Seattle headquarters, Adaptis maintains regional operations centers in Yakima, Wash., and Baltimore.
