Avalara, Intacct in Strategic Partnership

Avalara, a Bainbridge Island, Wash.-based publisher of automated sales tax compliance software, reported Tuesday that it has formed a strategic partnership with Intacct, a developer of on-demand financial management and accounting applications. Avalara said it will be one of the first companies to join Intacct's partner program, Intacct-Ready. As a result of joining the program, Avalara said, Intacct will resell Avalara's sales tax management software through a direct sales force and Intacct's network of channel partners. Avalara added that its flagship title, AvaTax, will be offered as an integrated solution with Intacct's on-demand financial applications.
