Microvision Teams With Asian Manufacturer

Redmond-based Microvision, which develops projection display and image capture products, announced this morning that it has signed a deal with Asia Optical Co., a manufacturer of electro-optical components, to have Asian Optical manufacture its Pico project product. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Asian Optical will manufacture Microvision's Pico projector, which provides the ability to project high resolution color images for heads-ups displays, helmet-mounted displays, and portable devices.
