Topaz Bridge Signs Merck, Looks Toward Funding

Seattle-based Topaz Bridge announced today that it has signed on Merck & Co. as a customer of the firm's software to connect Microsoft Office SharePoint with SAP. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Topaz Bridge's software product allows companies to link their employees to SAP software through SharePoint, rather than through SAP's own interfaces, which are more difficult to use. A spokeperson for Topaz Bridge also said that the firm is opening up a Series B funding round, as it looks to staff up at the firm.
