Xenocode Targets Browser Software

Seattle-based Xenocode said today that it has rolled out new software, which implements a number of popular web browsers through its virtualization software. According to Xenocode, the new software--Browser Sandbox--allows users to run all popular Windows browsers via a web application. the firm said the new software--available for free on its web site--is targeted at allowing web designers, system administrators, and others to evaluate the various browsers and test their web sites. Xenocode's software packages applications and operating systems into a single executable, isolating applications to run without interacting with Windows systems. The firm's software is particularly useful in decoupling software from underlying system conflicts, and for "locked-down" desktops.
