Schmitt Industries Expands Board

Portland-based Schmitt Industries, a manufacturer of computer-controlled balancing equipment for the machine tool industry, announced Thursday that it has appointed James A. Fitzhenry as a director at the firm. Fitzhenry has been and Executive Vice President at the firm since June of 2008, and has previously served at Capital Strategies Group and at FLIR Systems, Inc.
