Digimarc Sees Loss On Lower Revenues

Beaverton, Oregon-based Digimarc, a supplier of digital identity and watermarking software, announced its results this morning, saying that it lost $0.8M on revenues of $4.4M for the quarter, ending March 31, 2009. Digimarc said the revenue numbers were 13 percent lower than the $5.1M the firm reported in the first quarter of 2008. The firm also said that its board has approved a stock repurchase program to buy up to $5M of the firm's outstanding common stock.
