Microsoft To Launch New "Bing" Search Engine

Redmond-based Microsoft said today that it is rolling out a new search engine it is calling Bing. The firm said the new search product and brand will roll out June 3rd, and provide "a new approach to user experience and intuitive tools." Microsoft said the new search site is not a search engine, but a "Decision Engine." The new site--based on the firm's preview video--appears to incorporate functions from Farecast, which Microsoft acquired in April of last year--along with other specialized search features.
