NewsCloud Nabs Wired Writer

In last month's Wired Magazine, writer Evan Ratliff did a profile on how and why people try to disappear, but are usually found. He (and the magazine) then put out a challenge: he would voluntarily disappear, and would give $5,000 in a prize to the first person to find him. The result: yesterday, as a result of efforts from Jeff Reifman, founder of Seattle-based Facebook applications development firm Newscloud, Ratliff was captured at a New Orleans pizza restaurant. According to a detailed account by Reifman, Ratliff was exposed through information he exposed through a Twitter account, Facebook profile, and other information.
