thePlatform Nabs Travel Channel

Seattle-based thePlatform, a provider of video management tools and services, announced today that it has been selected by Travel Channel Media. According to thePlatform, Travel Channel Media will use its media publishing system for managing distribution an dplayback of short form programming on its site, and also for syndication of that content to sites like YouTube. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. thePlatform is a subsidiary of Comcast.
