Microvision Gets Order

Redmond-based Microvision, a maker of technology for miniature displays, said it has received an initial purchase order for its products at a "top" mobile phone operator in Europe. Financial details of the order were not disclosed. The firm said that the customer will be the first, global mobile phone operator of its technology. The firm said the order comes through its European distributor. Microvision develops technology used to project images from mobile phones and other similar devices to a screen. The firm is targeting its technology for inclusion in mobile devices.
