INRIX Powers Ford SYNC

Kirkland-based INRIX said Thursday that the firm has inked a deal with Ford Motor Company, where it will provide its real time traffic information and routing information to all Ford vehicles with Ford's new SYNC system. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Ford said it will utilize INRIX's real time traffic information to enhance its navigation systems, adding around 100,000 miles of arterials, city streets, and secondary roads to traffic data provided to consumers. Ford rolled out its SYNC system at CES, which will connect MP3 players, mobile phones, and other information into Ford cars.
