dotCal Takes On Web Calendar Sharing

Portland-based dotCal said Friday that it has launched a new Internet service to help businesses and individual publish and share web-based calendars. According to the new site, it will coordinate calendars between Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, Yahoo Calendar and Mozilla Thunderbird. The site is free to individuals, and costs $29 for month business subscriptions. The new site is a project of Neutral Space, run by Danton Mendell. dotCal claims beta testers of the service include the Mt. Hood Skibowl, Portland Farmers Market, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, among others.
