Getty Images Buys Celebrity Photo Firm

Seattle-based Getty Images, which licenses photos, graphics, and other visual media, said Monday that it has agreed to acquire Rex Features, a celebrity photography firm which also owns Los Angeles-based Berliner Photography. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The firm said the buy would bolster its access to entertainment and celebrity content.
