Optimum Energy Names New CEO

Seattle-based Optimum Energy, the developer of software for managing energy efficiency in heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, said today that it has named Matthew Frey as President and CEO. Frey has served as President and COO of World Wide Packets, where he oversaw that firm's sale to Ciena, and has also been at Price Waterhouse, Data Base Inc. and HDL Enterprises. Optimum Energy is backed by Columbia Pacific Advisors. Current CEO and founder Nathan Rothman remains Chairman of the Board of Optimum Energy.
