Bing Launches Toolbar App

Bing said Thursday afternoon that it has launched a toolbar application, Bing Bar, which allows users to search Bing, check Facebook, view email, and other tasks from Internet Explorer. The new software--which works on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP on Internet Explorer 7 or later--provides shortcuts to searching Bing, news feed and activity feeds on Facebook, proactive alerts on new email, and more.
