Neil Patel's Kissmetrics Flagged By Security Researchers

Kissmetrics, the online analytics and web tracking firm co-founded by Seattle entrepreneur Neil Patel, was flagged by security researchers at U.C. Berkeley Friday, for having an "undeletable cookie". According to a report from Wired, the Kissmetrics tracking service cannot be evaded, even when users block their cookies, turn off storage in Adobe Flash, or use "incognito mode" in a browser. The Wired article quotes researchers from U.C. Berkeley, saying that Kissmetrics keeps tracking users, even if they have "all cookies blocked" and use "private-browsing mode".
