Microsoft BizSpark Looks To Spur Funding With Deal Rocket

The Microsoft BizSpark effort, the effort by Microsoft to support startups, said today that it has tapped an online provider of investment deal management software to help its startups connect with investors. Microsoft BizSpark and CapLinked said that they have launched a new tool called Deal Rocket, which will allow startups to submit their business plans and profiles to prospective investors, including angel groups and early stage venture capital firms. CapLinked's service allow users to create "deal rooms" with financial and other information to help companies manage their fundraising process.
