Seattle Baby Blanket Firm Jumps On Angry Birds Bandwagon

There are few smartphone users who are unaware of the immensely popular, iPhone and Android game Angry Birds and its many variants. Well, a A Seattle maker of baby blankets, SwaddleDesigns, has jumped on the Angry Birds bandwagon, and is looking to tap into the popularity of the birds. The company has signed a licensing and merchandising deal with Rovio, the videogame maker behind the popular titles. According to SwaddleDesigns, it has inked an agreement with Rovio which gives SwaddleDesigns the rights to sell baby blankets based on the Angry Birds designs. No details of that licensing deal were announced, however, SwaddleDesigns said it will be shipping the blankets by October 10th, with preorders available now.
