Cozi Launches Premium Service

Seattle-based Cozi, the developer of family calendar and organizational software headed by Robbie Cape, said today that it has launched a premium service, called Cozi Gold. The company said the new, ad-free service will cost $4.99 a month, and provide access to its services with none of the ads. As part of the launch, the company said the first 5,000 subscribers will gain access to the service for $2.99 a month for six months. The new service is a divergence from the firm's original, free, ad-supported service; the firm said it launched the new service because some of its users prefer to pay for an ad-free experience.
