Mentor Graphics Takes On USB 3.0

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, the developer of electronic design automation software, said today that it has added hardware and software products to help verify Universal Serial Bus (USB) SuperSpeed (3.0) products. The products, which work with its Veloce emulator, are aimed at helping designers test their USB Superspeed peripheral devices. The new tools help designers ensure that their devices conform to standards and work properly with other equipment. Pricing on the new products was not announced.
