Itron Wins Deal In Hong Kong

Liberty Lake, Washington-based smart utility meter maker Itron said today that it has signed a contract, to supply 400,000 of its smart meters to the Hong Kong Water Supplies Department. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Itron said its meters will installed, beginning in late 2011, for a water conservation effort in Hong Kong.
