F5 Adds Android SSL VPN App

Seattle-based F5 is looking to help enterprises to secure access of Android smartphone devices, saying today that it has launched a new, SSL VPN application for Android 4.x devices. Android said it has launched a BIG-IP Edge Client, a SSL VPN client for Android Ice Cream Sandwich for accessing corporate resources via SSL VPN. SSL VPNs are used by companies to ensure a secure connection into their corporate network by remote users. The app is free.
