New Daily Deals Site Hits Seattle

A new daily deals site, Sharing Spree, said today that it is about to join the ranks of similar sites serving the Seattle market today. Sharing Spree said it will launch of February 14th in the market, offering up daily deals to consumers. Sharing Spree--which competes against dozens of other daily deals sites--said its unique angle on the daily deals market is its support of community organizations. The company said it donates 10 to 15 percent of every transaction to local non-profits or schools. The firm said local non-profits participating include the University of Washington Alumni Association, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Diabetes Association and Autism Speaks. Sharing Spree currently offers its service in POrtland, Nashville, and Birmingham, Alabama.
