Tableau Partners With Business Intelligence Firm

Seattle-based Tableau Software, the developer of visualization software, said today that it has tied with business intelligence firm Attivio, which will provide visualization of unstructured data via Tableau's software. The firms said the move would allow Tableau users to gain insights into data from web content, content management systems, social media, news, and other unstructured data sources. The link helps Attivio with providing analytic dashboards and visualization of data with its platform. Financial details of the link between the companies were not disclosed. The two said they have jointly tested and certified their products.
