EMC Isilon Deploys At Web Hosting Firm Webair

EMC's Seattle-based Isilon network attached storage (NAS) unit has scored a win with a web hosting and managed services firm. EMC Isilon said that Webair, which is based in New York and provides web hosting, cloud storage, and other services, has deployed its products to replace around 100 legacy storage systems. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. EMC said that its systems were selected to replace costly and cumbersome legacy storage. Webair is using Isilon's X-Series, SmartQuotas, and SmartConnect products.
