Opscode Ties Into HP Cloud

Seattle-based Opscode, the developer of cloud infrastructure automation tools, has tied its software into HP's Cloud Services offering, the firm said today. Opscode, which is venture backed by Ignition Partners, Battery Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson, said the move will enable businesses to fully automate and manage their HP public cloud infrastructure. Opscode's software makes it easier for IT administrators to automate deployment of cloud servers. Opscode's CEO is Mitch Hill.
