Mentor Graphics Ties With LeCroy On USB Testing

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, the developer of software simulation and electronic design automation tools, said today that it is in a collaboration with Teledyne LeCroy, a developer of protocol test equipment, to deliver a emulation platform for the SuperSpeed Universal Serial Bus (USB) protocol, on Systems-on-Chip (SoCs). Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The two said taht the new product combines Mentor's Veloce 2 hardware emulation technology and LeCroy's iSolve applications used for SuperSpeed USB testing.
