Amazon Takes On iPad Mini On Homepage

In a sign of how much Amazon.com considers Apple's new iPad Mini a direct threat to the Kindle Fire HD, Amazon posted a direct comparison of the two devices on its home page over the weekend, under the title "Much More for Much Less", giving a feature-by-feature rundown of the Kindle Fire HD to Apple's new device. Amazon even included a quote from Gizmodo saying that Apple's new device had a "worse screen", and is "charging more" for the iPad Mini.
