Nebula Ties With SolidFire

Nebula, the developer of private cloud infrastructure products, said today at the OpenStack summit in Portland this week that it has teamed up with solid state storage provider SolidFire. The companies said the move will add SolidFire's storage appliances to its system. Financial details of the link were not disclosed. Nebula has a Seattle office, and is backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Comcast Ventures, and Highland Capital Partners, as well as Innovation Endeavors, Andy Bechtolsheim, David Cheriton and Ram Shriram. SolidFire announced a number of OpenStack-related relationships and deals today, which adds its solid state storage to the popular open cloud computing stack.
