Rover.com Partners With Pet Safety Hotline Company

Seattle-based online dog boarding marketplace Rover.com announced Wednesday that it has linked up with dog safety company 1-800-HELP-4-PETS. According to Rover.com, the partnership gives dog sitters on Rover.com access to a "Sitter Protection Package" which gives sitters a special ID tag to track the dogs they are watching during a stay, and gain access to a "emergency hotline" for those dogs. Those sitters have to sign up for a $49.95 per year plan for the ID tags and emergency hotline support. Financial details of the link were not announced.
