Big Fish Reveals Revenue Numbers

Seattle-based casual games maker Big Fish has announced its revenue and growth numbers today, saying that the company had more than $266M in gross revenues for the company--which it says is the 11th consecutive year of double digital growth for the company. The privately held company said that growth was driven by its mobile games, as the company has been focused on becoming a free-to-play mobile games company. The company said it now has more than 400 mobile titles in its catalog. Big Fish originally got its start with paid, online casual games, but like the rest of the industries, has been adapting to the new world of smartphones and mobile games. The company said it plans to released 20 more, free to play mobile games next year--a big increase from the five it released in 2013, and the three released in 2012.
