Skytap Finds $6.65M More In Series C

Seattle-based software developer Skytap, which develops cloud-based, test automation software, said Tuesday that it has raised $6.45M more in an extension of its Series C funding. The company said the new funding came from existing investors, including OpenView Venture Partners, Ignition Partners, Madrona Venture Group, and Washington Research Foundation. The company said the new funds will go towards its channel program and for go-to-market efforts. Skytap's cloud-based environments make it easier for corporate software developers to more easily set up and test software applications. The additional Series C funding comes over three years since the announcements of its original Series C, and brings its total raised to at least $23.5M. More information »
