Julep Beauty Gets $30M

Seattle-based Julep Beauty, an online beauty brand, said today that it has raised $30M in a Series C funding round. The funding came from Azure Capital, Madrona Venture Group and Altimeter Capital, along with Andreessen Horowitz and Maveron. Julep said the funding brings its total raised to $56M. Julep offers up nail polish, skincare products, cosmetics, and other products based on crowdsourced ideas from its own customers, who participate in focus groups, feedback sessions, and more to help hone those products.
