Outlook.com Adds New Email Filtering, Rules Engine

In an aim to unseat Google's Gmail for the best email filtering and sorting tools, Microsoft's Outlook.com email service said this morning that it has rolled out a powerful new email filtering and rules engine. Outlook.com said its new Advanced Rules engine allows for multi-condition and multi-action rules to help users automate sorting through their inbox. The new features also came with new in-line replies, easier access to recent conversations with friends, and more.
