Starbucks To Expand Mobile Orders To Seattle

Starbucks said this morning that it is expanding its mobile ordering service, Mobile Order & Pay, to Seattle and the rest of the Pacific Northwest, staring next Tuesday. The service--which has been in beta in Portland since October--allows customers to place an order in advance, for quicker pickup. Starbucks has linked the service with its mobile app and its loyalty rewards program. Starbucks said the expansion will bring the service to approximately 650 locations in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska, with plans to expand nationwide throughout 2015.
