Wave Broadband Hit By Fiber Cut In Bay Area On Tuesday

Kirkland-based Wave Broadband was one of a number of fiber bandwidth providers who were hit in a major attack on fiber infrastructure in the San Francisco Bay area on Tuesday. The attack--which is being investigated by the FBI--resulted in outages for Wave's subscribers in Sacramento immediately after the attack, although Wave said those issues were all resolved as of 11:40pm Tuesday night.
