Amazon.com Jumps Into 3D Printed Figures

Seattle-based Amazon.com has jumped into the growing popularity of 3D printed characters from video games, saying today that it has launched a new 3D Printed Products store. The store lets users create more than 35 characters from Smite, Primal Carnage and Infinity Blade. Amazon said is tapping technology from Sandboxr for the new offering. 3D printing of characters from video games has become very popular in the last few years, letting users combine the worlds of video games with 3D printing.
