Salesforce Opens New Office In Seattle, Boosts Hiring

Another Silicon Valley company, Salesforce, said this week that it is opening up a new office in Seattle, and plans to more than double its workforce in the city, joining a long list of big Silicon Valley companies looking to tap into the area's rich supply of software developers and engineers. Salesforce said this week that the new Seattle office will become one of the company's largest engineering hubs globally. The company pointed to the area as having some of the "most talented enterprise software engineers in the world". Seattle Mayor Claudia Balducci said that Salesforce plans to hire hundreds for new jobs at the new office. The new office will be in Bellevue.
