Microsoft Launches Affordable Internet Fund

Redmond-based Microsoft announced over the weekend that it has launched a new fund, to help improve access to the Internet in underserved markets. Microsoft said its new Affordable Access Initiative aims to help fund businesses looking to close the Internet gap, and to bring Internet access to the approximately 4 billion people globally without access.
