WebMD Health Services Names Chief Medical Officer

WebMD Health Services, the Portland-based wellness program operator for employers and health plans, has named Michael Sokol as its Chief Medical Officer, the company said today. Sokol was previously Vice President, Employee Wellness, and Chief Wellness Officer at Sanofi. He also served at Merck & Co. Sokol reports to WebMD Health Services CEO Ben Slocum. WebMD Health Services is a subsidiary of WebMD.
