Microsoft Buys Wand Labs For Chat Bot Technology

Microsoft has acquired artificial intelligence software developer Wand Labs, the two companies said today, as part of an effort to bolster Microsoft's machine intelligence talent. According to Microsoft, it will use the acquisition to "bring together the power of human language with advanced machine intelligence". Wand Labs was developing conversational software used for intelligent agents and "chatbots", and was founded in 2013.
