Nurx Expands On-Demand Birth Control For Women To Washington State

Nurx, an on-demand startup offering up birth control to women via an app, recently expanded its service to serve Washington state, saying that it lets women get a prescription and delivery of birth control without the need for a visit to a doctor. The company, based in San Francisco, just announced a $5.3M Series A funding this week, from Union Square Ventures. The company also is offering up its services in California and New York. The company says it wants to make access to birth control "hassle free".
